Fall 2011

Course Program for 2012

Our course program for next year is already online. In 2012 we are organizing more courses than ever in English for people who are non German speaking. Most of the courses will only be offered once during the year as we also have a lot of group courses that do not show up in the open course calendar.

Wilderness First Responder Course

Wilderness First Aid

For the first time in Austria we have managed to organize for two instructors from the USA to come over to Europe to teach their Wilderness First Responder Course. This is considered the best first aid course to do if you are paddling in remote areas and want to be able to treat an injured colleague. This intensive course takes place over 9 days and has lots of practical training sessions.

Special facebook offer on this course for all Swiftwater Rescue facebook fans!

We have looked at these devices, spoken to people who have used them and drawn up a list of important information for anyone thinking of buying one as well as the pros and cons of taking one on the river with you.
