Rescue 3 SRT Instructor Course

For emergency rescue teams and organizations wanting to run their own in-house swiftwater rescue training we offer the possibility for experienced water rescue team members to become certified Rescue 3 Europe instructors able to run various courses on behalf of their organization.

This instructor pathway is not to be taken likely as it involves a massive amount of time commitment in training, practicing skills to a demonstration level, assessment and further training once qualified.

Course duration: 5 + 3 Days

The SRT Instructor course consists of 5 days of training in how to conduct a Rescue 3 course. Participants need then to practice all skills highlighted as weaknesses and prepare well for the 3 day assessment. There is normally over one month between training and assessment.

Course Aims:

This practical course will teach instructors how to plan and carry out rescue 3 europe courses in a swiftwater environment. We cover both theory and practical instruction as well as to what minimum standards to teach.
