Swiftwater First Responder Course

Swiftwater and flood First Responder

This basic level course is know as the Swiftwater and Flood First Responder and has been designed to train students to operate around moving water. It can also be used as a preparation course for the more challenging SRT. This level of training is particularly suitable for many groups where the complete team do not require a technician level of training, as they are not planning on entering the water. It can be run over two or three days, one day being classroom based and the rest practical work. After this course students are considered rescuers only when under the supervision of a SRT trained rescuer.

Certified by Rescue 3 International to NFPA standards.
