A lot of better paddlers have asked us to run a WRT course just for advanced kayakers, concentrating on harder whitewater. So this year we are offering our ever popular Whitewater Rescue Technician course in two versions to suit ability level. The WRT Basic for everybody and the WRT - Extreme which is for grade 4 & 5 boaters only.

With optimal water levels and brilliant sunny weather the first ever International Guide Race took place on the slalom section of the Salza river in Wildalpen testing all competitors in Swiftwater Rescue skills.

There were 3 different events to compete in; the first was the individual race, then the two man team head to head inline-raft cross and lastly the team competition.

Rescue 3 International have been working for a while on a new improved manual for all their Swiftwater rescue courses. This has now been finished so all students will be given a hot off the press up to date European manual, totally over hauled with new illustrations through out.
